Welcome

Tathra Public School is delighted to be a part of the MGoals project. Our school warmly invites you to communicate with us to advance Aboriginal Education in our school and beyond. Tathra Public School is committed to extending Aboriginal Education initiatives already carried out in the school and to embarking enthusiastically on new projects.

Tathra Public School is proud to work closely with Aboriginal community members to ensure the very best practice in Aboriginal Education is implemented at the school. In 2014, we launched four significant Aboriginal Education projects at the school. Graham Roberts (Acting Principal), Graham Moore (community member), Russell Cook (CEO, Bega Lands Council) and Margaret Taylor (Aboriginal Education Coordinator, Tathra Public School) took time recently to discuss the impact of past, present and future Aboriginal Education projects on the Tathra community.

The achievements have been substantial and now, with the innovative MGoals Project available to all schools and communities, an opportunity to share proactively within the community and beyond is available. This film clip shows the sharing that took place recently at the school when reflection on the past and present supported the future direction of Aboriginal Education at the school.
